What sizes are available?
Most ASAKE-OGE pieces are available in sizes XS through 3XL, and select unisex styles extend from 2XS through 6XL. The exact size range for each product is listed in the product options on the individual product page. If you are between sizes or unsure which to choose, use the ASAKE-OGE size guide for full body measurements and fit recommendations before placing your order. For fitted styles with elastane content, we recommend sizing up if you are between sizes.
Is this product made to order?
Yes. Every ASAKE-OGE piece is made specifically for you after your order is placed. We do not hold pre-made inventory. This means your item is produced fresh, to the quality standard the brand has held since 2009, and it also means we ask for your patience while it is made. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for production before shipping begins.
Can I customize my order, such as adding a name, changing the color, or requesting a different size?
ASAKE-OGE products are made to order, which means the size and color variant you select at checkout is produced specifically for you. Standard customizations such as size and color selection are handled through the product options listed on each product page. For specific custom requests beyond the listed options, including alterations, bespoke sizing outside the standard range, or special occasion commissions, contact us before placing your order and our team will advise on what is possible.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Because production begins quickly after an order is placed, cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Contact us immediately with your order number if you need to cancel. Cancellations requested after production has begun may not be possible, and the standard return policy will apply once the item is delivered.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. ASAKE-OGE gift cards are available in the store and are a great option when you want to give someone the freedom to choose their own piece from the collection. Gift cards are delivered digitally and have no expiry date. Search "gift card" in the store to find current denominations available.
I bought this as a gift. Can the recipient return it?
Yes, gift returns follow the same 14-day return policy. The recipient will need the original order number to initiate a return. Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at purchase, not to the gift recipient directly. If the recipient would prefer an exchange instead, contact us with the order number and we will arrange the exchange directly with the recipient.
What fabric is this product made from, and how do I care for it?
Full fabric composition and care instructions are listed in the Fabric and Care section of each individual product description. Different ASAKE-OGE pieces use different materials, including 100% cotton wax print, 100% recycled polyester, recycled polyester and elastane blends, and recycled microfiber. Sizing
How do I find my size?
Every ASAKE-OGE product page includes a size guide link with full body measurements for each size. We recommend measuring your bust, waist, and hips before ordering and comparing against the size chart rather than relying on your usual clothing size, as sizing can vary between styles and fabric types. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for fitted styles and sizing down for relaxed or oversized styles.
Do your sizes run true to size?
Most ASAKE-OGE styles run true to size. Fitted styles with elastane content, such as leggings, crop tops, and sports bras, run slightly smaller due to the stretch fabric; we recommend sizing up for these if you are between sizes. Oversized and unisex styles, such as button shirts and sweatshirts, are designed with a relaxed fit and may be sized down if you prefer a more fitted look. Individual product descriptions include specific fit notes for each style.
Do you cater to plus sizes?
Yes. ASAKE-OGE is committed to inclusive sizing. Most women's styles are available in sizes XS through 3XL, and select unisex styles go up to 6XL. Size availability varies by product and is listed on each individual product page. If you cannot find your size on a specific product, contact us and we will advise whether extended sizing is possible for that style.
What if my item does not fit when it arrives?
If your item does not fit, contact us within 14 days of delivery to request an exchange for a different size. The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Because items are made to order, your exchange piece will go through the standard 3 to 5 business day production period before shipping. We strongly encourage using the size guide before ordering to avoid sizing issues, as made-to-order items cannot be restocked and size exchanges require a new production run.
Shipping and Delivery
How long does delivery take?
After production (3 to 5 business days), standard shipping to US addresses typically takes 3 to 7 business days. Express shipping options are available at checkout for time-sensitive orders. International delivery timelines vary by destination. If you need your order by a specific date, we recommend ordering at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for both production and shipping time.
Do you offer a free shipping discount?
Yes, and it is one of our favourite ways to reward customers who invest in quality. When your order total reaches $150 or more, free shipping is automatically applied at checkout as a discount; no discount code, no fine print, no hoops to jump through. It is our way of saying thank you for choosing a Black-owned, made-to-order fashion brand over a fast fashion alternative. Standard shipping rates apply to orders below $150 and are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, ASAKE-OGE ships internationally. Shipping rates and estimated delivery timelines for your country will be calculated at checkout. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local fees depending on your country's regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in your order total or shipping cost.
Can I track my order after it ships?
Yes. Once your order has been produced and dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to track your delivery. If you do not receive a tracking email within 7 business days of your order confirmation, check your spam folder first, then contact us with your order number and we will look into it immediately.
Why has my order not shipped yet?
Every ASAKE-OGE piece is made to order after your purchase is placed, which means your item goes through a production period of 3 to 5 business days before it is dispatched. This is not a delay; it is the standard timeline for made-to-order fashion. If your order has not shipped after 7 business days from the date of purchase, contact us with your order number and we will provide an update.
Returns and Refunds
What is the ASAKE-OGE return and refund policy?

If you need to return or exchange an item, we accept requests within 14 days of delivery on items that are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Does ASAKE-OGE accept returns?
ASAKE-OGE accepts returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Because every piece is made to order specifically for you, we ask that you review the size guide, product description, and fabric details carefully before purchasing. Returns are accepted where the item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached. Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
Does ASAKE-OGE accept exchanges?
Yes. If you ordered the wrong size or would like a different color variant of the same product, contact us within 14 days of delivery to request an exchange. Exchanges are subject to availability. Because items are made to order, your exchange piece will go through the standard 3 to 5 business day production period before shipping. Contact us to initiate an exchange before sending anything back.
Which items are not eligible for return or exchange?
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances: items that have been worn, washed, or altered; items returned without original tags; final sale or discounted items marked non-returnable at the time of purchase; custom or bespoke orders produced to specifications outside the standard product listing; and items returned after the 14-day return window has closed. If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before initiating a return.
What do I do if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs showing the issue. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are always resolved at no cost to you, whether through a replacement, a store credit, or a full refund depending on the situation. Do not return a damaged or incorrect item without contacting us first; sending it back without prior communication may delay your resolution.
How do I initiate a return?
Step one: contact us within 14 days of your delivery date. Include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Step two: our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions, including the return address. Step three: ship the item back using a trackable shipping method. ASAKE-OGE does not cover the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item on our part. Step four: once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5 to 7 business days.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, except in cases where the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. In those cases, ASAKE-OGE will cover return shipping or arrange an alternative resolution. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
How long does a refund take to process?
Once your returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, the credit may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear in your account after we process it. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued on our end.
Will I receive a full refund?
Eligible returns receive a refund for the item price paid. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. If your order qualified for free shipping and is returned, the cost of outbound shipping may be deducted from your refund total depending on the circumstances.
Can I return a sale or discounted item?
Items purchased at a discount during a promotional sale are subject to the same 14-day return window as full-price items, unless they were marked as final sale at the time of purchase. Final sale items are clearly indicated on the product page and at checkout, and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances. If you are unsure whether your item was final sale, check your order confirmation email or contact us directly.
Can I return a bundle?
Bundles follow the same return policy as individual items. If you wish to return a bundle, all items in the bundle must be returned together in their original, unworn, unwashed condition. Partial bundle returns are not accepted. Contact us before initiating a bundle return to confirm eligibility and receive return instructions.
What if I used a discount code or gift card on my order?
Refunds on orders placed with discount codes are calculated on the amount actually paid, not the original full price. If a gift card was used as full or partial payment, the refund will be issued back to the original gift card. Gift cards themselves are non-refundable.
